That jeans shirt

Finally after a while a new post and matching the NYFW it will be no other than an outfit post!
Recently I have been loving the wider-shirt-and-shorts-look and been absolutely loving my new jeans shirt from forever 21. Since the summer in Tel Aviv is so hot, I've been waiting for a month and a half or so upon buying it until I could actually wear it.

Víva España!

I figured that a style post would be nice for a change and what better time than summer to show off all the lovely pieces in your wardrobe? My thoughts exactly!
Today's outfit is all Spanish attire. The shirt is from Pull and Bear, the shorts and sandals are from Zara.
I love the gold detailing on the shirt and the fabrics are all natural.

OOTD

Please excuse the lighting. Finally an outfit post again. As I realised everything I am wearing here is from Mango. The jumper, the shoes and the bag were all from new collections, so should still be available.
Everything is from Mango

OOTD

Before I was heading out to celebrate one of my favourite days on the year, the Independence Day, I thought I will manage to quickly post my OOTD, however I did not and the post is only coming up now.

OOTD and New In

Today I have really tried filming a video but unfortunately the quality of my camera really is bad the sound was just awful so unfortunately there will be no video any time soon.
Instead I decided to have an outfit of the day post and also share the new products that I have.

As you may or may not know, I have had really dry skin, particularly on my forehead and it was/is really hard to apply foundation and thus I have ventured into completely new territory of tinted moisturisers and BB creams. However, this is now what this post is about. When I was buying my Clarins facial oil the lady also gave me a sample their cleansing milk for dry and sensitive skin. I have been using it every morning and please bear in mind that I NEVER used to wash my face in the morning. Anyway, I really loved it although the consistency was really strange to me in the beginning and it obviously was not foaming.
So I went into my drug store determined to buy the Clarins cleanser and of course went out with the Lancaster one. It is called "Comforting Cleansing Milk". Supposedly they are dupes for each other and after using it for a few days I am really really pleased. My skin feels really soft and nice to the touch.  I bough a set which came with a toner because it was an offer and strangely enough cheaper than the individual bottle. They are both 400ml and will last me forever.
I also picked up a sun cream for the face because I have to use it here in Israel. The sun is just brutal and shines most of the year. It does not stick and can be used on top of your daily moisturised and underneath the foundation or powder. I had bought the regular sun cream by Lancaster last summer and was very pleased.

OOTD and New In

Today was one of the first really warm and sunny spring days and it really is about time, since it has been an exceptionally cold and long winter for Israel. So decided to enjoy and met my friend for breakfast on this lovely Saturday.
I also purchased new things that I have not shared yet, but I guess I can hit two birds with one stone and show you the outfit as well as the new stuff.
I have new shoes, that I bought in Primark when I was in Germany for a business trip last week. They actually have a really nice pinky-peach colour and came out a little orange on this picture. I really have to find a solution for the lighting.
I also have new shoes from a Zara Sale.
I also have a new top from Primark and new jeans from 7 for all mankind that will be featured in the outfit photo. The jeans are of a very dark blue colour but unfortunately appear black due to bad lighting.

MBFWB 2012

I decided that since it is the new year, it is time for my blog to grow up and change its appearance a little bit, so I hope that you like it.
The Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in Berlin started and how much do I wish to be there. The city has an incredible flair to it that I really want to experience.
Anyways, I came across the show of Lena Hoschek, an Austrian designer, who is knows for her retro influences. This season she combined heavy, typical Austrian materials with French Chic, lace and silk. Basically the collection very mich reminds me of Woody Allen's movie "Midnight in Paris". I hope you like it as much as I do.

I think the whole collection is incredibly beautiful and feminine. It just makes you want to take out the heels and the beret and go out on the street.

Let us start with the shoes!

Here are also two of the shirts that I bought over the last months. There is more but there will be a second part of "New in" following.

Lips as red as blood

So I decided that an outfit post is long over due and promptly to close that gasping gap. I am enjoying the last more or less warm days here and one can feel that autumn or rather winter is coming. So obviously one has to use the last chances he gets to wear maxi skirts with shirts, tops and flip flops before getting out all these chunky knits, scarves and boots.
I decided that it is absolutely necessary to wear that new skirt before I have to come up with ways of how to pair it with warmer clothing.
How do you like wearing maxi skirts? Please share.

And there was shopping time again...

So over the past few months I obviously have some additions to my wardrobe to share. Some little ones and some bigger ones. For some of them I have to thank my mother who came to visit and contributed towards the extension of my wardrobe.

First off is this gorgeous green Mango dress. Since I'm rather short I am wearing it with a thin brown belt and it just looks stunning.
The runner(s) up are the new shoes, that I acquired:
1. Aldo
I absolutely love open toe boots, or as we call them booties and I really wanted to have a pair with lace. I saw these boots on sale in Aldo and bought them immediately. Ironically I then saw them in the new collection and for the full price. I lucky me I guess!
2. Urban Shoes
Then there are these strappy sandals, which I really like and I couldn't wait to buy a pretty pair of blue shoes, which is also comfortable.
3. Zara
We have these absolutely amazing biker boots, which I cannot wait to wear with pretty much everything I've got, but unfortunately, although that might be in the eye of the beholder, it's not boot-time in Israel just yet. I do admit that I had enough of the heat and wouldn't mind a littel bit of coolness, but then again if I were in Europe I'd also be complaining...
And then we also have the brown ballerina slippers and I really am a sucker for those. I strongly believe that one can never have too many pair because they pretty much almost go with anything.
Then we have the "all about eyes" cream by Clinique, which I have been waiting for and dreaming about. I do have to say that I absolutely love it, as I do with all of Clinique's products. It's not sticky and doesn't burn in your eyes and I was most afraid about that before I started using eye cream. It has an incredibly light texture and the skin feels silky afterwards.
Further we have an H&M reptile print dress, which is great for the weather here because it can just be worn on the street without blazers, tights or cardigans.
